Axel strengthens its team with new key persons

 

Turku, Finland, 5th September 2008 - Axel Technologies Oy, one of the leading mobile TV software vendors, enhances its global competitive edge by announcing two new designations to its team. Matti Vilola and Hannamari Ojanperä both have international backgrounds, which will support Axel’s strategy to be a bigger global player in the market. With these new hires Axel will reinforce its organization’s delivery and commercialization capability even further.

Matti Vilola has been brought on board as a Senior Manager, Operations and he will head up the process and delivery development at Axel. A quick glance at Matti’s background shows his great skills of managing varying projects in mobile software development and his years of knowledge in Asian markets is of great value for Axel. Matti relocated back to Finland form China, where he was working for Elcotech the last few years. Previously Matti has worked for companies such as Microcell and Teleste. 

On the marketing and communications side Axel welcomes Hannamari Ojanperä, the new Marketing Manager of Axel. Hannamari has gained her international and marketing experience working for high profile technology companies such as Cisco and Gartner in London. She also worked in a communications agency in London where her main client stakeholders were Microsoft, Business Objects and Fronde.
